This display took up most of a wall in the screening room of the Emigrant Trail Museum, located in the Donner Memorial State Park. Something about a museum donor’s granddaughter being an avid lepidopterist…? Tangential for sure, but impressively holding its own with cannibalism as far as conversation topics.
wow. those are hardcore! have you read the Dangerous World of Butterflies? It reminds me of that. Even though I’ve only read and heard ABOUT that book. 🙂
